About PMP
Benefits of PMP certification
Project Management Professional (PMP)® is the world’s most popular certification for experienced project managers, a distinctive mark of professional quality, recognized by companies worldwide.
The Project Management Professional (PMP)В® Certification is given to project managers and projects in all industries. To date, the number of active PMP holders who have confirmed and continue to confirm their qualifications every 3 years is about 1 million people. With PMPВ® certification, you automatically increase your labour market value by about 1.7 times, according to PMI, and you become a member of the largest community of certified project management specialists.
Certification is developed by the Project Management Institute (PMI) and tests knowledge of good, proven and innovative project management practices, including those specified in the PMBOK GuideВ®. The PMBOK® Guide is typically updated every four years. The latest, 8th edition of the PMBOK® Guide (PMBOK® Guide — 8th Edition), was released in November 2025.
