Agile, Rewritten for the AI Era
A practitioner's reading of the second edition
Why we are running this webinar
Who is speaking
Alina Piddubna
Account & Delivery Director, Intellias Director & Lead Consultant, InStar Practitioner in project management since 2008. Teaching other practitioners since 2015. Contributor to the PMBOK Guide, Eighth Edition. PMI-ACP certified, so she reads the new guide from inside the practice, not from the outside. She manages a portfolio of programs and projects for European technology clients. Alongside that, she leads In-Star, a PMI premier-level Authorized Training Partner in Ukraine. PhD in Economics. Certifications: PgMP®, PfMP®, PMP®, PMI-ACP®, PMI-CP, PMO-CP, PMI-CPMAI™, AWS Solutions Architect Associate. She works at the intersection of management practice, business development, AI, and cloud technology.
What we will talk about
What changed between 2017 and 2026
seven sections became six, and it is not about layout
AI in value delivery
what the guide actually recommends doing with generative tools, and where it holds back
Hybrid stopped being a compromise
predictive, agile, and hybrid life cycles now sit in one section as equal options
Distributed teams and psychological safety
a section that did not exist in the first edition at all
Portfolio and enterprise agility
SAFe, LeSS, and Disciplined Agile in the second edition, and what holds up in a 100+ person company
Metrics
DORA and measurable value instead of velocity. What that changes in the conversation with leadership
What this means for the PMP and PMI-ACP exams
whether to reread, and what to read first if you are preparing now
What to do next week
specific steps, not an invitation to rethink your approach
Who this webinar is for
You run projects in a hybrid setup
and want to know what PMI now treats as the default and what as the exception
You are preparing for the PMP under the 2026 ECO
60% of the new exam covers agile and hybrid, only 40% predictive
You are considering PMI-ACP
and want to see what the certification is built on before committing
You own how delivery works across the company
PMO lead, operations director, methodology owner. The portfolio and enterprise agility sections are written for you
You are already putting AI into how your teams work
and you need structure, not another list of tools
This webinar is NOT for you if:
You are hearing about Scrum and backlogs for the first time. This is a reading for people already working in these practices. You are looking for step-by-step exam preparation. This is a conversation about the guide's content, not a study session. For preparation, see PMI-ACP Exam Prep and PMP Exam Prep.
