The Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) is PMI's entry-level certification. Eligibility requires secondary education and 23 hours of project management education before the exam. No project experience is required. The exam has 150 questions and lasts 3 hours, including a 10-minute break. PMI Study Hall for CAPM is available for additional practice.
CAPM is your route to PMP: an active CAPM replaces the 35 training hours when you apply for PMP.
