The PMP certification is globally recognized because it represents a demonstrated ability to manage projects in complex conditions. Passing the 2026 ECO exam requires understanding predictive, agile, and hybrid approaches at depth, and being able to reason about them deeply. PMI's official PMP exam prep program is built around that reasoning, with artificial intelligence (AI) integration reflecting how project management actually works today.

What changed in PMP in 2026
Exam languages
The exam is available in 15 languages, including English, Polish, and Russian. Ukrainian is not offered.
Three eligibility paths
Bachelor’s degree or higher plus 3 years of experience; associate degree, higher certificate, or technical-vocational qualification plus 4 years; or secondary education plus 5 years. Experience must be within the last 10 years. PMI GAC graduates need 12 months less.
Training hours
Every path also requires 35 hours of project management training or an active CAPM. From late 2026, live hours count only from a PMI ATP or an accredited academic program.

AI integration note: AI tools are referenced throughout the curriculum where they affect project practice, planning, reporting, risk analysis, stakeholder communication. Not as a separate module, but as part of how the work is done.
