PMP® Exam Prep: aligned with the new 2026 ECO

"Obtaining a PMP certification is like winning an Oscar. It's that rare moment when I actually want to put myself in the spotlight and share my achievement with the community. I posted that I began my certification journey back in 2021! How could I have known back then that in the next 5 years I would become a mother, experience a full-scale war, flee my country and start a new life as an immigrant, begin my own small business, and eventually get certified! When life gives you lemons, make lemonade! So I made it. The last five years of my life taught me such adaptability and resilience that I feel like I can achieve anything I want. This winter, I promised myself I would get certified. My dear friend Olena Sikorska inspired me to continue with my long-term goal. Her example showed me that with the right attitude and preparation, everything is possible! So I found the best coach, Natalia Starynska, PMP, from InStar, who not only provided insights and useful tricks of the trade to pass the exam, but also made sure the students of our prep course truly developed the required PMI mindset. "I am thrilled to share that after months of intense mental fitness, I have officially earned my Project Management Professional (PMP) certification! 🎉 They say experience teaches you how to handle uncertainty, but this journey turned into the ultimate real-life stress test. My initial plan was to take the exam offline at Kyiv test center, but it was canceled twice for completely unexplained reasons. Switching to the online format didn't go smoothly either: during my first attempt, severe technical difficulties caught me off guard, causing massive stress that ultimately led to a failed exam. Dealing with that level of frustration, I immediately rebooked the exam for the earliest available date, managed the risks, and successfully knocked it out of the park on the retake, scoring Above Target in all 3 domains (3AT)! 🚀 In general, it was a fantastic journey and a great opportunity to align my practical experience with global standards and prove that my gut feelings actually have official PMI process names.
