THE CONTEXT

Why we created this course

An AI assistant drafts the status report, summarises the contract, estimates the effort and suggests the risks. It is usually right enough to trust and sometimes wrong in a way nobody notices until a stakeholder does: a clause that is not in the contract, a source that does not exist, a total that does not add up, a confident conclusion built on a wrong assumption. The more you use AI, the more your value as a manager depends on how well you check it. In three hours with Alina Piddubna (PgMP, PfMP, PMI-CPMAI, PMBOK Guide 8th edition contributor) you learn how AI output typically fails and a verification routine you can run in minutes: check the facts against the source, test the logic, recalculate the numbers, look for what is missing, and decide when the question needs a human expert. You also learn to ask AI in a way that makes checking easier, and to tell your team which outputs can be used as is and which must always be reviewed. Most of the time is practice on real AI outputs from project work: reports, summaries, plans and estimates with errors planted in them. You leave with a personal checklist and a set of prompts that make AI show its sources and assumptions.
Outcomes

What you'll be able to do

Concrete skills and outcomes you'll walk away with

  • Spot AI errors fast

Recognise the typical failure patterns in reports, summaries and estimates.

  • Check in minutes, not hours

Run a short routine on facts, logic and numbers before you send anything.

  • Make AI show its work

Use prompts that expose sources and assumptions, so checking is easier.

  • Know where to stop

Decide when a question needs an expert or should not go to AI at all.

  • Set rules for the team

Leave with a personal checklist and simple team rules for reviewing AI output.

Curriculum

Multiple sessions. One coherent program.

    • Confident errors, invented sources, wrong totals, plausible nonsense, missing context.
    • Why AI is wrong in a convincing way, and where it is usually reliable.
