"I'm excited to share that I've achieved the "black belt" of project management: the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from PMI, recognizing my advanced skills and reflects my 18 years of experience in project management. This exam was like managing a crisis project: • Initiated the preparation • Planned endless mock tests and caffeine marathons • Executed (or rather, survived 230 minutes) • Controlled stress levels (spoiler: failed) • Closed the exam (and almost triggered a risk mitigation plan for emotional breakdown). "Obtaining a PMP certification is like winning an Oscar. It's that rare moment when I actually want to put myself in the spotlight and share my achievement with the community. I posted that I began my certification journey back in 2021! How could I have known back then that in the next 5 years I would become a mother, experience a full-scale war, flee my country and start a new life as an immigrant, begin my own small business, and eventually get certified! When life gives you lemons, make lemonade! So I made it. The last five years of my life taught me such adaptability and resilience that I feel like I can achieve anything I want. This winter, I promised myself I would get certified. My dear friend Olena Sikorska inspired me to continue with my long-term goal. Her example showed me that with the right attitude and preparation, everything is possible! So I found the best coach, Natalia Starynska, PMP, from InStar, who not only provided insights and useful tricks of the trade to pass the exam, but also made sure the students of our prep course truly developed the required PMI mindset.
